Stellantis finished the third quarter with a slight decrease in sales in the U.S., but overall growth in North America.

Globally, Stellantis closed the third quarter with a 1% year-over-year net increase in revenue to $41.9 billion.

Driving the news: In its Q3 financial report Wednesday, Stellantis reported its U.S. sales were down 0.3% year over year.

  • The company pointed out its performance was above the industry average, which was down 0.8% for the quarter.

  • While U.S. and Canadian sales were down 0.3% each, its sales in Mexico increased by 24%.

Zooming in: Shipments to North America were 47,000 below Q3 2025, but up 129,000 year over year.

  • Stellantis pointed to planned production shutdown affecting certain Jeep models, including Grand Cherokee and Compass, for the 12% decrease in shipments.

  • It claimed it was partially offset by the Ram 1500 HEMI V8, Ram 1500 TRX, and Jeep Cherokee HEV.

Ram is growing: Though collective sales were down domestically, the Ram 1500 grew 73%.

  • Ram reported a 30% year-over-year increase in North American sales.

  • Additionally, Dodge Durango had a 14% increase and Chrysler Pacifica 6%.

What they’re saying: “In North America, Stellantis is among the fastest-growing OEMs year-to-date,” said Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa. “Once again, gain share year-over-year. REM has led the way as the fastest-growing brand in the region, both in the quarter and year-to-date.”

Bottom line: Stellantis made progress financially in the quarter, though shipments were down. It reports progress on its FaSTLAne 2030 initiative with a continued focus on profitability and aligning production with demand.

It also pointed out new additions, with the Ram Rumble Bee and trail-rated Jeep Recon BEV expected to drive interest in the brand.
