Driving the news: Jason Pittack, CEO of the Woodhouse Auto Family, acquired a luxury dealership from Lithia Motors, Inc., in a deal that closed May 28.

For context: Pittack purchased Ferrari of Denver in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

  • The store name will remain, according to Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions, which represented Lithia in the sale.

  • Woodhouse Auto Family, of Omaha, Nebraska, owns more than 20 dealerships in multiple states, including Iowa.

  • Public retailer Lithia has been active this year, including its acquisitions of a Toyota store in Nashville in March and a Mercedes-Benz dealership in February.
