Driving the news: Hello Auto Group sold Hello Subaru of Valencia and Hello Mazda of Valencia, both in Santa Clarita, California, to Chris Hemmersmeier of Jerry Seiner Dealerships, and to Sam Ghreiwati of Ghreiwati Auto Group.
For context: The deal with Hemmersmeier closed on March 16, and the dealership was renamed Jerry Seiner Subaru.
Ghreiwati renamed its dealership Mazda of Valencia. That deal closed on March 17.
Alex Covino of The Dave Cantin Group represented both buyers in the transactions.
What they’re saying: Dave Cantin Group said in a release that their group “revived a stalled effort” to sell the stores.

Bottom line: Tricky deals or not, California continues to attract interested buyers looking to expand or enter new areas of the state in this year’s busy buy-sell market.
