Driving the news: 2025 continues to be a disastrous year for Ford’s $F ( ▼ 1.68% ) quality control.

For context: Per federal regulators, the automaker is recalling over 355,000 F-150 and Super Duty trucks for faulty instrument panels that may fail to display critical safety information.

  • F-150s, F-250s, F-350s, F-450s, and F-550 Super Duty trucks are affected.

Additionally Ford is recalling nearly 500,000 vehicles over leaking brake fluid caused by ruptured hoses.

  • This recall includes 2015-2018 Edge SUVs, and 2016-2018 Lincoln MKX vehicles.

Big picture: The company has already recalled close to 7 million vehicles in more than 100 separate actions this year—likely costing hundreds of millions (if not billions) of dollars.
