Driving the news: Ford’s $F ( ▼ 0.95% ) recall woes continue piling up.
The details: The latest recalls span Ford's lineup from rugged off-roaders to luxury SUVs and electric trucks.
Recall 25V721 (163,256 vehicles): 2021-2023 Ford Bronco front seat height-adjustment pivot bolts may loosen and dislodge, increasing crash injury risk. Dealers will replace pivot links and bolts. Owner notifications begin December 1.
Recall 25V729 (174,853 vehicles): 2021-2023 F-150, 2022 F-250/F-350/F-450 Super Duty, 2021-2022 Expedition and Navigator. Moonroof wind deflectors may detach while driving due to improperly attached clips. Dealers will inspect and secure all clips. Owner notifications begin November 3.
Recall 25V730 (56,841 vehicles): 2025-2026 Explorer, Corsair, and Aviator. Windshields may have air bubbles in the laminate layer that impair driver visibility. Dealers will inspect and replace affected windshields. Owner notifications begin November 7.
Recall 25V731 (14,843 vehicles): 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning Platinum and Lariat follow-up recall after some dealers reused metal fasteners instead of required plastic pushpins during previous recall repairs, causing rear lightbar failures. Interim notifications begin November 3, parts available March 2026.
Recall 25V732 (64,938 vehicles): 2017-2019 Flex B-pillar trim appliques may detach from front doors due to assembly inconsistencies. Dealers will inspect and repair or replace trim. Interim notifications begin December 8.
Big picture: Five recalls in one week means a surge of manufacturer-reimbursed service work hitting dealerships heading into winter. Several of these fixes, particularly the wind deflector inspections and trim repairs, could be simple enough for mobile service vans, letting dealers knock out recalls in customer driveways while keeping service bays open for higher-margin customer-pay work.
