Driving the news: Carvana purchased its seventh Stellantis dealership in Ohio from Elliot Schor and Scott Zuckerman of Catskill Automotive Partners. The deal closed April 21.
For context: The (mostly) online retailer bought Avon Lake Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram in Avon Lake, Ohio, about 20 miles west of Cleveland.
The store was renamed Carvana Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram.
A recording at the dealership directed consumers calling with questions about vehicles purchased before April 21 to a different phone number.
Worth noting: Stellantis updated its acquisition limit for dealers in February, limiting it to one during a rolling 12-month period. This marks one of the deals announced following that policy change.
Similar transactions include the March 3 purchase of a Stellantis dealership near Boston.
Additionally, Carvana owns dealerships selling the brand in California, Arizona, Texas, and Georgia.
What they’re saying: “We look forward to bringing exceptional Carvana experiences to Cleveland-area Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram customers,” a Carvana spokesperson said via email.
