Stretch your summer budget with these hot car deals

Welcome to the CDG Shopper’s Corner! Every week, we collect the best incentives and discounts on new and used vehicles from across the car market, including financing deals, low interest rates, and leasing opportunities. Our goal is to help you discover the most affordable options so you can spend more time shopping and less time researching.

1. Costco

Unlike everything else they sell, you probably aren’t going to buy vehicles in bulk when you shop through Costco. That doesn’t mean you can’t find some great deals on new and used cars, however. Yes, you have to be a member to access these discounts, but you also get 15% off parts, service and accessories by joining, so it’s really a win-win.

Here’s what you can get by shopping at one Costco’s dealer partners:

  • Vehicles: Select models (including Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickups and Volvo XC60 SUVs) from Volvo, Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC.

  • Discount: $1,000 off, available through the end of July.

  • Additional: This offer can be paired with other manufacturer incentives, provided your purchase is eligible.

Costco has an even bigger deal if you happen to be in the market for a luxury EV:

  • Vehicle: Polestar 2 hatchback

  • Discount: $2,000 off, available through the end of July.

  • Additional: This offer can be paired with other incentives and applies to leases as well.

Savvy car owners always get multiple offers from different buyers before agreeing to sell.

2. Sam’s Club

2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV

Not to be outdone, Sam’s Club is also making a name for itself in the auto game. Although its selection of automakers isn’t anywhere close to Costco’s, Sam’s Club is actually offering some pretty great deals for Mercedes-Benz fans. Here’s what they’re offering, just keep in mind you have to be a member to qualify:

  • Vehicles: 15 Mercedes-Benz models, ranging from the C-class sedan to the EQS SUV.

  • Discount: $500 to $10,500 in bonus cash

  • Additional: Sam’s Clubs members receive additional discounts when shopping from partnered dealers, which can be applied on top of the bonus cash offer.

3. Honda

2024 Honda Accord

Did you know? According to Cars.com, Honda is one of the most “made-in-America” car makers, thanks to its network of factories across the U.S. This means when you purchase from a Honda dealership, you’re doing more to support local manufacturing jobs than certain Big-Three brands…

With Independence Day right around the corner, show off your patriotism with these deals:

  • Vehicles: Honda Accord and Honda Civic sedans

  • Accord Discount: Cash offers up to $1,250 for returning Honda customers.

  • Civic Discount: Cash offers up to $500 for returning Honda customers.

  • (Both models) Financing: APRs as low as 3.9% for 24 months to 48 months.

  • The offers above are available through the first week of July.

4. Volkswagen

Volkswagen ID.4

Just like Honda, Volkswagen also made an appearance on Cars.com’s American-Made list this year, thanks in part to all the manufacturing it does at the Chattanooga Tennessee Assembly Plant. VW has actually been killing it with its electrified lineup, so let’s take a look at what they’re offering on their most popular EV to date:

  • Vehicle: VW ID.4 electric SUV

  • Discount: Up to $5,000 in customer bonus cash for qualifying buyers.

  • Financing: 0% APR on terms up to 72 months when you finance through Volkswagen Credit of America.

  • Additional: Both offers available through July 2, ID.4 is also eligible for the full $7,500 federal EV tax credit.
