Driving the news: Victor Oh purchased two Los Angeles dealerships from Lithia Motors, Inc. in a deal that closed Sept. 28.
For context: Oh purchased Audi Downtown LA and Volkswagen of Downtown LA in California.
The dealership names will remain.
Audi Downtown LA will operate under Max Motorcars LLC and the Volkswagen store under Jack Motorcars LLC.
Oh bought his first franchised dealership, Audi West Covina, from Lithia in 2025 under Grace Motorcars LLC.
Oh also formed a holding company, Oak Motorcars, with all three stores nestled beneath, according to Biltmore Services, which advised Oh on the deals.
Anthony Holbrook, a managing director with Dave Cantin Group, and former Audi national franchise manager and Pacific Southwest area director, advised Lithia on the sale. He also worked the 2025 Audi West Covina deal.
Worth noting: Lithia also owned a Porsche store on the property but relocated it.
Porsche's move left "a vacant showroom and a property built for three franchises for a buyer of two to manage," according to a release from Dave Cantin Group.
Tim Devine of Biltmore Services told CDG News that Oh is humble and truly focuses on his team and customers.
"Victor is a great guy and the type of person you want to succeed," Devine said.
What they're saying: Holbrook said in a release that his team looked for an operator that wanted to grow with Audi and could see the value of two high-volume dealerships.
"Having seen Grace Motorcars' early success at West Covina, we knew CEO Victor Oh wanted to expand the brand in a nearby market," Holbrook said. "Our job was to find a structure that worked for Grace Motorcars and met the seller's goals."
