Driving the news: Jarryd Carver acquired Audi Gainesville from Warren Henry Auto Group in a deal that closed on February 13.

For context: This marks Carver’s first dealership purchase under his newly formed group, E1T1 Luxury.

  • It’s also Carver’s first luxury dealership and his first in Florida.

  • The dealership has a modern building and Gainesville is a rapidly growing area, according to buy-side advisors Haig Partners.

Worth noting: Carver is now the first Black Audi dealer in Florida.

  • Warren Henry Auto Group exits the north Florida market with the divestiture. The group still owns multiple luxury dealerships in south Florida.

What they’re saying: “This acquisition represents growth aligned with a brand known for innovation, performance and excellence,” Carver said in a release “…We believe strongly in the long-term outlook for Audi, and look forward to investing in the team and the market for years to come.”

Bottom line: Carver found a great opportunity in a growing market while Warren Henry Auto can refocus on its strongest portfolio segments.
