Driving the news: The Gurley Leep Automotive Family purchased a Stellantis dealership from Victory Automotive Group in a deal that closed June 1.
For context: Gurley Leep, of Mishawaka, Indiana, purchased Victory Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Merrillville, in Indiana.
The store was renamed Team Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram.
With the acquisition, Gurley Leep now owns 24 dealerships in five states, including Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Missouri.
Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions represented the sellers in the transaction.
What they’re saying: Mike Leep Jr., president of his family’s group, said in a release that growth helps their impact grow.
“Expanding in Northwest Indiana allows us to serve more guests, create more opportunities for team members, and continue giving back to the communities we call home,” Leep said in the release.
