Driving the news: Ghreiwati Auto Group has purchased the last of Hello Auto Group’s dealerships in Santa Clarita, California, in a March 30 deal.
For context: This completes a three-part transaction for Hello Auto Group, which also sold Hello Subaru of Valencia and Hello Mazda of Valencia, also in Santa Clarita.
Hemmersmeier bought the Subaru dealership on March 16, while Ghreiwati bought the Mazda store on March 17.
Ghreiwati renamed the store Kia of Valencia.
Dave Cantin Group represented the buyers in the transaction.
Haig Partners represented the sellers.
What they’re saying: “These types of transactions underscore the importance of experience and disciplined execution,” Haig Partners said in a post about the transaction. “Our team worked closely with Hello Auto Group from strategy through closing to navigate complexity and deliver a successful outcome.”
Bottom line: Location remains important in buy-sell acquisitions, and California in particular remains a hot spot for buyers.
