Driving the news: Ghreiwati Auto Group has purchased the last of Hello Auto Group’s dealerships in Santa Clarita, California, in a March 30 deal.

For context: This completes a three-part transaction for Hello Auto Group, which also sold Hello Subaru of Valencia and Hello Mazda of Valencia, also in Santa Clarita.

  • Hemmersmeier bought the Subaru dealership on March 16, while Ghreiwati bought the Mazda store on March 17.

  • Ghreiwati renamed the store Kia of Valencia.

  • Dave Cantin Group represented the buyers in the transaction.

  • Haig Partners represented the sellers.

What they’re saying: “These types of transactions underscore the importance of experience and disciplined execution,” Haig Partners said in a post about the transaction. “Our team worked closely with Hello Auto Group from strategy through closing to navigate complexity and deliver a successful outcome.”

Bottom line: Location remains important in buy-sell acquisitions, and California in particular remains a hot spot for buyers.
