Driving the news: Diehl Automotive purchased two dealerships from Firelands Auto Group in a deal that closed on March 31.
For context: Diehl purchased Firelands Toyota of Wooster and Firelands Volkswagen, both in Wooster, Ohio.
The stores were renamed Diehl Volkswagen of Wooster and Diehl Toyota of Wooster.
This acquisition gives Diehl its third Toyota store and second Volkswagen, CEO Corina Diehl confirmed to CDG News via LinkedIn.
“ And it was a perfect fit for us,” Diehl said.
Bottom line: The purchase grows the group’s Ohio footprint while adding another Toyota store, a brand that continues to be highly sought after.
